I particulary like the work for Supergrass. ' In it for the money ' cover. I like the reflective image with a mixture of natural and urban form and photograpic images. The simple black and white works better for me in contrast to the chris ware comic. The way all the shape is construcuted together then reflected, creates really powerfull results.
The piece I feel is very stable and has direction. It reads well, the type situated at the top surrounded by the negative space is in good proportion to the reflected image. I feel that the reflected image creates great pattern, and it just simulates sensation of motion. The high contrast tends to have more apparant qualties, more abstract from a photographic image to a graphic image, therefore more interesting to the viewer.
